What the saved screening run found

392,257Records screened
218,161Recorded benefit
28,232Review candidates

A review candidate is a residential record with no recorded homestead flag, a matching property and mailing address, and an owner name that did not match our entity/trust filter. That is a screening pattern—not confirmed owner occupancy, eligibility, an unclaimed refund, or money owed.

These are saved screening totals, not a fresh count from the tax office. The number that can be found by ZIP may differ. No per-address list is published on this page. Official source.

Open the appraisal district website

File Form 50-114 with your appraisal district. The regular deadline is April 30. For a late claim, each tax year must be considered separately.

The general school-district exemption is up to $140,000 of appraised value. This example excludes local-option exemptions, appraisal caps, tax ceilings and special situations.

A late application generally must arrive within two years after the tax delinquency date. The chief appraiser approves or denies it. An approval can reduce unpaid tax or refund tax already paid; it does not guarantee two years of savings. Read the late-application rule

We do not turn these candidate counts into a savings or refund total. Actual eligibility, assessment years, rates and paid taxes would need separate verification.
